Yami Gautam reveals shooting for Article 370 was mentally tough and challenging during pregnancy: The training was rigorous

At the trailer launch event of Article 370, Yami Gautam revealed she is pregnant. Yes, Yami is expecting her first child with husband Aditya Dhar. For the uninitiated, Yami was pregnant when she was shooting for her upcoming movie. During the media interaction, Yami opened up about how challenging it was for her to shoot the movie while being pregnant.

When asked how tough it was for her mentally, Yami said, “Of course mentally there’s so many questions. The firsts are always challenging and if you are asking about motherhood and everything coming together in the same time, I really don’t know what I would have done without Aditya (Dhar) not being there by my side, and Lokesh bhaiya, everybody.”

The actress added, “It was of course a home production but you know you’re a part of something and there’s responsibility as an actor and credibility as an actor that you have to consistently be at it. Of course we took precautions. That’s also not a time where you tell everybody that ‘ok, this is what’s gonna happen’. It’s something which is a no kept secret. But luckily, most of the stunts and the whole training bit, it was very rigorous training for a week.” She further thanked the entire team for the incredible experience.

Yami added, “I’m really thankful for the doctors who were supervising this secretly (laughs). So, we were most left with the talking or the walking parts. But all in all, it felt more than surreal. The baby is also a part of this whole thing.”

Aditya showers love on wife Yami

Furthermore, Aditya heaped praises on wife Yami and called himself the ‘luckiest man in the world’. The filmmaker said, “She is a thorough professional. She knows her shit. Sorry to say that, but she knows her shit really, really well. Truly I feel I lucked out that I got married to her. As a human being, she’s one of the best human beings she’ll ever meet. She’s spiritual and religious. She’s somebody who is very thorough about her work. She’s very professional. I completely lucked out professionally, as well as personally. I think I am one of the most luckiest guys in the world.”

Aditya and Yami tied the knot in 2021.

On the other hand, Article 370 is slated to release on 23^rd February, 2024.
