The Jantar Mantar protests are a part of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) movement. This has emerged as a Gen-Z youth demonstration. It has entered its third consecutive week of protests in New Delhi. The massive demonstration initially flared up following exam controversies and ongoing discontent over employment opportunities. This led to major standoffs and a security lockdown near Jantar Mantar as protestors attempted to march towards Parliament.
