EXCLUSIVE: Anupamaa Fame Jatin Suri Shares Interesting Details About His The Keeda Character , Says, “Never Imagined My Bollywood Debut Would Come With Such A Powerful Role”

Actor Jatin Suri, who has created a name for himself in TV with the hit show Anupamaa, is all set to step into a new milestone in his career. The actor will make his Bollywood debut with The Keeda, where he plays a Mumbai Police Inspector. For Jatin, the role is more than just his first film credit. He says getting to wear the police uniform in his debut project makes the experience even more memorable.

Jatin Suri: To Begin My Bollywood Journey With The Keeda Is A Blessing

Talking about the film, Jatin Suri said, “Every actor dreams of making it to the big screen. To begin my film journey with The Keeda is a blessing in itself, but what makes it even more special is that I’m playing a Mumbai Police Inspector in my very first film. I never imagined my debut would come with such a powerful and respected character.”

The actor added that putting on the police uniform brought a different kind of emotion while filming. According to him, the role came with a sense of pride and responsibility that he hopes audiences will also connect with when they watch the film.

Jatin also credited the makers of The Keeda for trusting him with the part. He thanked producer Ashish Sharma, Mad Motion Pictures in association with Saeyesha Creations, along with director Prashant Vilankar, saying their confidence in him pushed him to work even harder on set.

Looking back at his television career, Jatin said Anupamaa played an important role in preparing him for this phase. He said the love he got from viewers gave him the confidence to try out different characters and take on new challenges.

The actor also spoke about producer Rajan Shahi, calling him one of the people who helped shape his career. Jatin said Shahi believed in him when he needed an opportunity the most, and that trust remains one of the biggest turning points in his professional journey.

As The Keeda gets ready for release, Jatin hopes audiences will support him on the big screen just as they did during his television stint. He shared, “As I begin this new chapter with The Keeda, I sincerely hope the audience embraces me in this new avatar just as they embraced me in Anupamaa. Their encouragement means everything to me. This is only the beginning, and I’m excited for everyone to see what we have created.”
