Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal turned heads at producer Ramesh Taurani’s Diwali party in Mumbai on Wednesday night. The couple, who tied the knot in June this year, looked stylish as they posed for the paparazzi. But it was a funny moment between the two that quickly went viral on social media.

As Sonakshi stepped forward to pose, Zaheer jokingly said, “Sambhaal ke” (Be careful), hinting at the ongoing pregnancy rumours. Sonakshi looked surprised at first, then burst out laughing and playfully hit him. The fun didn’t stop there. While posing together, Zaheer placed his hand on her stomach, pretending to confirm the rumours. Sonakshi shouted his name in mock anger, and both laughed again.

Before leaving, Zaheer clarified to the media, “Mazak kar rahe hain” (We’re just joking), making it clear that there was no truth to the buzz.

The rumours started earlier this week after a video of Sonakshi at another event went viral. She wore a red traditional outfit, and some social media users began speculating that she was pregnant, pointing to what they thought was a “baby bump” and “pregnancy glow.”

Back in July, Sonakshi had already joked about these rumours. She shared a funny WhatsApp chat with Zaheer where he kept offering her food. She wrote on Instagram, “The reason why everyone thinks I’m preggos. Stop it @iamzahero.”

Sonakshi and Zaheer got married in a private civil ceremony on June 23, 2024, followed by a grand celebration attended by Bollywood stars. Since then, they’ve shared many fun and romantic moments online, showing fans their playful bond and strong relationship.
