Zarine Khan Funeral: Emotional Zayed Khan Performs Last Rites; Hrithik Roshan Pays Last Respect To Former Mother-In-Law- Watch

Zarine Khan, beloved wife of veteran actor-director Sanjay Khan and mother of actors Zayed Khan and Sussanne Khan, passed away in Mumbai on Friday, November 7, at the age of 81. Her final rites were performed at the Juhu crematorium, and close family members and friends from the film industry gathered to pay their last respects. Hrithik Roshan, Sussanne’s ex-husband, attended the funeral along with his girlfriend Saba Azad, standing in support of the grieving family.

Among the many who arrived to offer condolences were Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Bobby Deol, Sonal Chauhan, Tanisha Mukerji, Jackky Bhagnani, Manisha Koirala, filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor with wife Pragya, director Sanjay Gupta, Aly Goni, Jasmin Bhasin, Sussanne’s boyfriend Arslan Goni, and producer Shabinaa Khan.

A heartbroken Zayed Khan was seen carrying his late mother’s bier. Sussanne and her children stayed close to Zarine’s mortal remains during her final journey. Sanjay Khan, appearing visibly emotional and frail, was accompanied by family members and staff for support throughout the ceremony.

As reported by Republic, the prayer meet for Zarine Khan will be held on Monday at JW Marriott, Mumbai. She is survived by her husband, Sanjay Khan, and their four children — Zayed Khan, Sussanne Khan, Farah Khan Ali, and Simone Arora. Earlier this year, the Khan family celebrated Zarine’s 81st birthday with heartfelt notes and cherished memories.
