The movies Hit: The First Case starring RajKummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra clashed at the box office on Friday with Taapsee Pannu starrer Shabaash Mithu. Both the movies made a poor collection on the first day of the release. Hit: The first case and Shabaash Mithu received decent reviews, but the movies failed to rake a decent box office collection on the first day of the release.

A Box Office India report said that the RajKummar and Sanya Malhotra starrer made a collection of 1-1.5 crore, while Taapsee Pannu movie has collected extremely low. As per the report, Hit: The First Case made a collection of lower than the movies Khuda Hafiz 2 and even Rashtra Kavach OM.

The report stated, “Hit – The First Case collected poorly at around 1.15 crore nett which is lower than Khuda Haafiz last week and Rashtra Kavach Om the week before. Nothing much was expected from the film as the trailer was poor and no face value to attract the initial audience. When there is no face value then the trailer or a song has to work.”
