The Kashmir Files box office: Anupam Kher starrer turns to be victorious, shows a jump on Tuesday

The Kashmir Files has surprised everyone at the box office. The film’s collections have surpassed many Bollywood big films and created new records at the box office. In fact, the film has comfortably crossed the 50 crores mark and if it continues at the same pace, the film can easily hit the 75 crores mark. Vivek Agnihotri starrer has now collected Rs 18 crores on day 5 which now brings the grand total to Rs 60.20 crores at the box office.

Anupam Kher starrer has turned out to be unstoppable despite having competition from Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi and Prabhas and Pooja Hedge starrer Radhe Shyam. The film so was hard-hitting that the word of mouth did an excellent job in bringing extra footfalls. The drama was started on a low-key note but now it is currently setting the cash registers on fire.

Friday: Rs 3.55 crore

Saturday: Rs 8.50 crores

Sunday: Rs 15.10 crores

Monday: Rs 15.05 crores

Tuesday: Rs 18 crores

Total: Rs 60.20 crores

Going by the latest trends, the film has once again beaten the Tuesday collection of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi which collected Rs 11.22 crores, Gangubai Kathiawadi which minted Rs 10.01 crores, Ranveer Singh starrer 83 which raked in Rs 6.70 crores. Talking about pre-COVID times, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’s Tuesday collection was Rs 15.28 crore whereas URI: The Surgical Strike had Rs 9.57 crores.
