Exclusive: Kajol is not a part of Karan Johar’s ‘Takht’

Karan Johar and Kajol had their own share of ups and downs on the personal front. Their equation indeed gives a lot of friendship goals to many. However, their friendship had fallen apart a few months ago, but now things seem to be back to normal.

There have been reports that Karan is all set to sign Kajol for a very special appearance in his upcoming period drama, ‘Takht’, the multi-starrer that he is directing and which features some of the biggest stars of Bollywood.

However, according to the sources, Kajol is not doing the film.

“This is not true at all. Kajol is occupied with her film ‘Helicopter Eela’ and she has not signed up anything post that. All these are just mere rumours,” said a source.

It seems like a publicity gimmick as neither Karan nor Kajol has officially confirmed about this. As far as Kajol is concerned, she is busy with her personal life and has not signed up anything, not even a cameo after ‘Helicopter Eela’.

Takht’ on the other hand is set against the backdrop of the Mughal empire and stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor.
