When Shahid Kapoor didn’t celebrate his birthday to honour Sridevi’s death
Yesterday (February 24) was a very painful day for the Bollywood fraternity as it was the first death anniversary of Sridevi. It just doesn’t feel right that Sridevi is no longer with us and her absence has left a big void. Today, Shahid Kapoor is celebrating his 38th birthday.
Now, Shahid Kapoor did not celebrate his birthday last year in the aftermath of Sridevi’s tragic and untimely death.
Shahid Kapoor’s fans were busy wishing their favourite star on his 37th birthday. Late in the evening, Shahid took to his Twitter account and thanked his fans for their wishes.
However, the ‘Udta Punjab’ actor also stated that instead of his birthday, fans should celebrate the day for Sridevi’s contribution to Indian cinema and her brilliance.
Want to sincerely Thank You all for your wishes. But today is the day to remember Srideviji. To remember her for her brilliance and the magic she brought into our lives. All our love and wishes must be for her today. May she rest in peace.
