Alia Bhatt who is known for her style quotient is seen sporting a grubby look in upcoming release ‘Udta Punjab’. The transformation of the stylish diva into an unrecognisable Bihari Migrant was truly shocking. The beauty worked hard to get the nuances and the speech right. She not only took coaching in playing hockey but also learnt Bhojpuri to get the accent right.

Recently the makers had released a video of how the handsome Shahid Kapoor transformed into a drug snorting, grungy rock star Tommy Singh in Udta Punjab. Now they have unveiled a new video that takes us through the making of Alia Bhatt as the Bihari migrant.

The fair beauty is seen as the dusky beauty, the reason behind the need to do so has been revealed by the Highway actress in the video.

‘Udta Punjab; also stars Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh in pivotal roles. Alia said, “I feel it is very different (the look). The people who I have interacted with till now, haven’t been able to recognise me.”
