Ridhi Dogra and Monica Dogra will be seen together for the first time in The Married Woman, a show promising to stir an important conversation. In a candid chat, Ridhi Dogra and Monica Dogra open up on the judgements they have faced, the stereotypes associated with women, battling lows. Ridhi also shared the judgements she faced and being friends with ex Raqesh Bapat. Ridhi also opened up on tapping on the pain and hurt they have endured to bring nuances to their characters in The Married Woman. Ridhi mentioned that there is a lot of ‘calm’ when it comes to her relationship with Raqesh Bapat.

“Of course, you tap into emotions you have felt in past but I have healed. I don’t carry anything. There is a lot of calm there. We are very much in touch, Raq and I. In fact, he texted me this morning to wish my nephew a happy birthday,” Ridhi shared and added, “There is no similarity between Aastha’s journey and mine.”

About facing judgement, she said that she didn’t care about judgements. “I just knew how judgemental people were. Honestly, when people were judging me, I didn’t take any of it but I did see a pattern of conditioning. I actually sat down and wondered ‘we are screwed, they have no idea.”

Ridhi added that he never cared about what people would say. She reiterated, “I did go back to a lot of things but I have healed, I have healed from so much. But obviously, your healing journey doesn’t stop.”

To those unaware, Ridhi and Raqesh were married for seven years before they separated in 2019. Raqesh had previously mentioned that there is love between them, but the definition of it has definitely changed.
