The latest song ‘Main Zinda Hoon’ from J P Dutta’s upcoming war drama ‘Paltan’ is sure to evoke a patriotic feeling in you. Crooned by Sonu Nigam, the song takes you through the feelings of a soldier while he is on duty. The song tries to showcase how ‘A soldier dies not when he is shot, but when he is forgotten’.

The song composed by Anu Malik and penned by Javed Akhtar, shows what all it takes for a soldier to work selflessly for his country. ‘Paltan’ focuses on the hard-hitting truth of India’s relations with China and the struggle Indian soldiers went through to get Sikkim back. The film is based on the Nathu La military clashes of 1967 which took place along the Sikkim border.

The film boast of an ensemble cast of Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood, Gurmeet Choudhary, Harshvardhan Rane and Siddhant Kapoor amongst others. Presented by Zee Studios and produced by JP Dutta Films, ‘Paltan’ is slated to release on 7th September.
