With the success of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, it has been established that Karan Johar is a maverick in his true sense. Also starring Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, and Shabana Azmi in important roles, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has seen not just success at the box office, the film has also won over audiences. What I have been most happy about in the film was to see that KJo hasn’t lost his flamboyant touch. Even after a seven-year-long hiatus, that fire in his belly burns strong.

Ever since we saw the teaser and trailer of Karan Johar-directed Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, the media fraternity in unison agreed that this will be THE film that will bring back many to the theatres. It looked promising, and well KJo telling this story truly with his heart made it achieve what it has. In terms of its business, the film collected more than Rs 200 crores globally. Overall, it won a million hearts, and despite two weeks of its release the film is still running strong in theatres. Its growth is steady at the box office.
