As reported by Sacnilk, on Day 1, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai earned a net collection of Rs 7.50 Cr from 9,081 shows. This brings the total gross collections in India to Rs 9.00 Cr and the total net collections in India to Rs 7.50 Cr so far. Overseas, the film has grossed a total of Rs 2.00 Cr, bringing its worldwide gross collection to Rs 11.00 Cr.
