Actor Rani Mukerji starrer Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway has done well on the first day at the box office, in terms of collections. Directed by Ashima Chibber, the movie was released in theatres on March 17. The movie is currently riding high on positive reviews from the critics and the audience. And, the Rani Mukerji starrer is looking forward to a good weekend as it rakes a decent number from other releases.

Warming up the box office with exciting numbers, Mrs. Chatterjee VS Norway proves to be a cinematic experience with a gripping storyline that will stay with you for days. Touted to be one of Rani Mukerji’s best performances, the film has opened to Rs 1.27 crores on its Day 1 at the box office.

On the first day, the Rani Mukerji starrer also performed well in terms of the overseas collection. The movie managed to rake a total collection of Rs 1.70 crore on the Day 1 of the release.

Meanwhile, the Ashima Chibber directorial was released in 120 cities in India and 43 countries overseas. Produced by Zee Studios and Emmay Entertainment (Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani & Nikkhil Advani), Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway continues to touch the hearts of many with its heart wrenching storyline.

The film stars Rani Mukerji in a key role. It also features Neena Gupta, Jim Sarbh, Anirban Bhattacharya, Kristjan Ukskula, Tiina Tauraite, and Erki Laur amongst others.

On the other hand, Kapil Sharma starrer Zwigato clashed with the Rani Mukerji starrer, at the box office. In terms of the collections, the Kapil Sharma starrer could not do much on Day 1. Zwigato made a box office collection of around 20 lakhs nett on the first day.
