Adipurush Day 5 Box Office: Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer performs poorly

Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush released in theatres on 16^th June. The Om Raut directorial opened on a good note at the box office. The film collected Rs 140 crore on its first day globally. Prabhas starrer went on to do well in numbers on Saturday and Sunday. However, it didn’t fare well on day 4 as it collected Rs 35 cr. On Tuesday (day 5), Adipurush came down to collect Rs 20 crore at the box office.

The Om Raut directorial has been mired in controversies for multiple reasons since its release. On day 5, Adipurush collected only Rs 20 crs. Well, the low numbers might be because of the controversies surrounding the film. The total collection of Adipurush stands at Rs 395 cr globally.

Friday – Day 1: Rs 140 cr

Saturday – Day 2: Rs 100 cr

Sunday – Day 3: Rs 100 cr

Monday – Day 4: Rs 35 cr

Tuesday – Day 5: Rs 20 cr

For the uninitiated, Adipurush has been grabbing attention for its poor VFX, objectionable dialogues and a lot more. Recently, the makers of Adipurush announced that they will be reworking on the dialogues of the film. The changes will soon reflect on the screen.

Adipurush stars Prabhas as Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Saif Ali Khan plays Lankesh, Sunny Singh stars as Laxman, and Devdatta Nage plays Lord Hanuman.

Bollywood Bubble gave Adipurush 2.5 stars. A part of the review read, “While Adipurush might not match up to a magnum opus level, it surely is a delight to watch on the 70mm. The story might leave you not every strongly impacted, but it will sweetly touch your heart. For the performances Saif and Kriti have give, this film deserves to be watched on a big screen.”
