The Kashmir Files wave has hit everyone and how! The film not only made people emotional but it also swept off the cash registers ever since it was released. Even though the opening was below par excellence, the film picked up from day 2 and became unstoppable. Unfazed about Bollywood big films like Gangubai Kathiawadi, Radhe Shyam, Anupam Kher and Mithun Chakraborty starrer continued to score and how. As the film has entered the third week now, it has slowed down as it saw a dip on the third Monday.

The directorial venture of Vivek Agnihotri has collected Rs 12.40 crores which makes the grand total Rs 179.85 crores at the box office. Going by the latest trends, The Kashmir Files is now aiming for 200 crore club. Since SS Rajamouli’s highly anticipated film, RRR is about to hit the big screen this week (March 25), it is to be seen if the film will continue to score in double digits. If the intense drama continues to bring in double digits, TKF film can comfortably cross the 200 crore mark at the box office.

Meanwhile, earlier, an IAS officer from Madya Pradesh, Niyaz Khan, tweeted that the income of The Kashmir Files can be transferred to the Brahmin children’s education and construction of homes for them in Kashmir, like a great charity. Reacting to this suggestion, the director Vivek tweeted, “Sir Niyaz Khaan Sahab, Bhopal aa raha hoon 25th ko (I am coming to Bhopal on 25th). Please give an appointment so we can meet and exchange ideas how we can help and how you can help with the royalty of your books and your power as an IAS officer.
