Fauzi Prabhas

A tragic accident has disrupted the shoot of Fauzi, starring Prabhas. According to reports, the film’s production has been halted indefinitely after a road crash near Hyderabad claimed one life and left several others injured.

Prabhas’ Fauzi Shoot Halted Indefinitely

The incident reportedly occurred in the early hours as crew members travelled to Ramoji Film City for a scheduled shoot. As per Times Now, the accident took place near Abdullapurmet on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The vehicle carrying the crew lost control and hit cement dividers near Toopranpet Bridge, under the Choutuppal Police Station limits.

The collision proved severe. One crew member died on the spot, while five others sustained injuries. Emergency services responded quickly and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment. Despite widespread reports, the production house, Mythri Movie Makers, has not yet issued an official statement. The team is reportedly coordinating with the affected families.

Before the accident, the film had progressed significantly. The makers had completed nearly 80 per cent of the shoot. The remaining schedule included three major action sequences featuring Prabhas. However, the team has now paused work to mourn the loss and allow investigations to proceed.

Meanwhile, the production had already faced challenges in recent days. Unauthorised photos and videos from the set had surfaced online. In response, the makers issued a strict warning and urged people not to share leaked content. They stressed that such leaks affect the audience’s viewing experience and warned of legal action against those circulating stolen footage.

About Prabhas’ Fauzi

Despite the setback, reports suggest that the team still aims to stick to its planned timeline. The film currently targets an October 2026 release, around the Dussehra festival. If that holds, it will mark Prabhas’s second theatrical release of the year after The Raja Saab.

Fauzi also stars Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada, and newcomer Imanvi in key roles. The film is mounted on a large scale and remains one of the most anticipated projects in production. The tragic accident has cast a shadow over the film’s shoot. While the team plans to resume work after this pause, the immediate focus remains on supporting the victims and their families.
