Aastha Gill Urges Artists To Be Honest With Audiences
When asked why singers are often seen lip-syncing on stage during live performances, Aastha Gill responded, “Somebody who can’t sing live on stage doesn’t have to be a bad singer. Because being on the stage and owning the stage with your notes right, it’s a different game altogether. Not every good singer or not every good artist has to be that. But you need to just know your reality. That’s what I feel.”
She further added,” I mean, I know a lot of singers who are vocal about it, also ki hum toh plus pe gaa rahe hai. But still, people are coming to watch them, yeah. But then don’t pretend, I feel. If you’re doing that, just be open about it.”
