EXCLUSIVE: Flames’ Ritvik Sahore OR Loot Kaand’s Sahil Mehta? Tanya Maniktala On What Sets Them Apart

Actress Tanya Maniktala started her acting journey with Flames and has now released her latest show Loot Kaand. She opened up about her experience working with Ritvik Sahore in Flames and Sahil Mehta in Loot Kaand, highlighting their unique approaches towards supporting her in the journey.

Tanya Maniktala Shares What’s Difference Between Ritvik Sahore And Sahil Mehta

Tanya shared that while both actors belong to the same age group, their working styles are quite different and compared to cities like Mumbai and Delhi. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, she shared, “Ritvik Sahore is a Bombay boy and Sahil is as Delhi as it comes. Ritwik was very always polite and very sophisticated and always a lot of fun but obviously in the start when we didn’t know each other and we were just starting out together there was a little hesitation and that kind of sort of respectful distance that we maintained. Now, I think Ritwik has become Delhi, where he’s full badmash.”

She further added, “While, Sahil because we’ve known each other since college and absolutely a no hold back on anything. We were critiqued because we knew how much more we had to offer and sometimes we forget, but the other person can see what your true potential is. So it’s just great to have this constant reminder and personification of support.”

“I feel like that, I connect both with Ritwik and Sahil in that because, before Ritwik, I had done no camera work so he was always so supportive and constantly looking out for you, which he still does. And with Sahil, because we came from such a good level of knowing each other, there was just ease,” she concluded.

Tanya Maniktala’s Work Front

On the professional front, Tanya Maniktala has released her latest series Loot Kand on MX Player. The series stars Tanya Maniktala, Gyanendra Tripathi, and Sahil Mehta and is directed by Ruchir Arun. It is streaming on Amazon MX Player from March 20.

The misadventures of two siblings, Latika and Palash, are the subject of the crime thriller in the series Loot Kaand. They struggle to make ends meet after the untimely death of their father.

While Palash uses more questionable tactics, Latika puts in a lot of effort at work. Latika and Palash unintentionally discover a perilous network of crime and corruption connected to the notorious Purulia arms drop of 1995 when they assist Palash in what appears to be a straightforward bank heist.
