EXCLUSIVE: Janhvi Kapoor on mom & dad Sridevi & Boney Kapoor’s relationship: They set the bar really high

Janhvi Kapoor, daughter of late Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Bawaal. The actress will be seen sharing screen space with Varun Dhawan in the Nitesh Tiwari directorial. Ahead of the film’s release, Janhvi along with Varun and Nitesh, sat down for an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble. Given that Bawaal is a romance-drama, we asked Janhvi and team about their idea of love and relationship.

Talking about Janhvi, in particular, she revealed that she is a romantic person. The actress also shared how her parents Boney Kapoor and Sridevi’s marriage has inspired her in her life.

Janhvi told us, “I think I’m quite a purist and a romantic. It’s one of the most important things in life to be loved and love someone. It’s important to have a healthy equation where you don’t need to worry about things like your image and you can be yourself. In fact, when there’s a right equation, you can be more yourself than you are when you’re alone. You need that space to grow and that affection, encouragement and positivity around you.”

Furthermore, Janhvi shared how her parents’ marriage plays a big role in her life. The actress shared, “I think my idea of love is based on off my mom and dad’s relationship and how much I’ve romanticized in my head. All of pappa’s stories about how he wooed mom and all of mumma’s stories. Or just like watching them how they were together and how devoted they were to each other. I think they set the standard, the bar really high.”

Janhvi Kapoor talks about Boney Kapoor and Sridevi’s marriage

Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s love story is one of a kind. Boney had earlier revealed that he fell in love with Sridevi the first time he saw her in a Tamil film in the late 1970s. They got married in June 1996. Jahvi was born in 1997 and Khushi was born in 2000.

On the other hand, Janhvi is said to be dating Shikhar Pahariya. They are often spotted together in the city. The duo has neither confirmed nor denied their relationship.
