Khushi Mukherjee On Being Affected By Trolls

Actress Khushi Mukherjee, known for her bold fashion choices and unapologetic personality, has revealed a heartbreaking truth—she has been diagnosed with clinical depression, triggered by the constant social media trolling she faces for her clothing.

Khushi Mukherjee On Clinical Depression Battle

In an emotional conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Khushi opened up about her mental health struggles, saying, “I never thought expressing myself through fashion would cost me my peace of mind. People say hurtful things every day, and over time, it broke me from the inside.”

For Khushi, the glamour of the spotlight came with a heavy price and behind her confident social media posts was a young woman slowly crumbling under the weight of negativity. The endless flood of harsh comments, name-calling, and moral judgment began affecting her sleep, appetite, and eventually her mental well-being.

“I was smiling for the camera, but crying when no one was watching. People assume we’re thick-skinned because we’re in the public eye, but we feel everything,” she shared.

She was recently diagnosed with clinical depression, a moment she calls both painful and awakening. “It made me realise I had ignored myself for too long. I kept pretending I was okay, but I wasn’t.”

Khushi is reality‑TV star and entrepreneur. Breaking out on MTV’s Splitsvilla 10 and Love School 3, she has appeared in South Indian films and adult‑themed web series like Nadaan, Noorie, and Jungle Mein Dangal. Founder of KM Films, she also owns the digital magazine Bold is Bae and boasts 1M+ Instagram followers. On the work front, she will be next seen in Mutra Visarjan Varjit Hai with Arbaaz Khan.
