Kunickaa Sadanand On Being Called ‘Daadi’, ‘Pishachini’

When asked how she dealt with insulting tags like ‘Daadi’ in Bigg Boss 19, Kunickaa responded, “Jab log insult karte the toh obviously you feel emotionally bruised. Aisa lagta hai ki aapko is tarah se treat nahi karna chahiye. Lekin maine kabhi woh voice out nahi kiya. Maine usko head-on liya aur ladti rahi. Bhale hi raat ko jaake royi hoon, lekin next day phir strong hoke khadi ho gayi. This is Bigg Boss, Bigg Boss ke ghar ka yehi kamaal hai ki aapko roz ladne ki taakat milti hai. Aur mere saath mere Guru the; unki tasveer leke gayi thi, toh unhone bhi mujhe bahut taakat di.”

Kunickaa Sadanand Admits Being Hurt By Abhishek

Speaking of who hurt her the most, Kunickaa Sadanand said, “Abhishek ne mera dil toda hai bahut buri tarah se, and I really felt very sad. Uske birthday ke liye itna sab kuch karne ke baad usne mujhe ‘Pishachini’ ka tag de diya, jabki usse poocha bhi nahi gaya tha ki kaun Pishachini hai, kyunki already woh toh Pishachini ke do logon ka naam tay karke aaye the. Toh mujhe bahut bura laga, aur kabhi-kabhi main apni achchai ko bhi question karti thi ki kya aisi achchai zaroori hai life mein ya nahi. Toh theek hai, Abhishek ab bahar milega toh dekhenge.”

About Kunickaa’s Daadi, Pishachini Tags

Kunickaa Sadanand addressed the conflicts in the Bigg Boss 19 house, where Abhishek Bajaj repeatedly referred to her as Pishachini. The rivalry began when Abhishek first called Kunickaa a “Pishachini” during a Weekend Ka Vaar task. The name-calling continued with him labelling her “zehrili” (poisonous) and “darpok aunty” (cowardly aunty) during subsequent arguments.

The conflict also involved age-shaming; Kunickaa, being significantly older than Abhishek, highlighted the age gap between herself and her son. These remarks were perceived as derogatory, especially regarding the term Daadi. Kunickaa was deeply hurt by Abhishek’s comments and his apparent lack of respect for her seniority. It became more intense when she retaliated by cursing him and his family, dragging his mother into the argument.

The personal attacks and age-related insults drew widespread criticism. It prompted Bigg Boss host Salman Khan to emphasise the importance of respecting elders and maintaining decorum within the house.
