Altamash Faraz’s rise in showbiz has been nothing short of amazing. The actor – who is currently getting a lot of praise for his role in Colors’ hit show Mangal Lakshmi, EXCLUSIVELY talks to Bollywood Bubble about Holi, his fond childhood memories attached to the festival of colours, how he loves celebrating it and more. Read on to know all he shared.
Altamash Faraz: Holi Has Always Been One Of My Favourite Festivals
Speaking about what Holi means to him beyond just colours and celebration, Altamash shared, “Holi to me means carefree fun. Holi has always been one of my favourite festivals since childhood because Holi is all about fun and mischief.”
During the interaction, he also thought fondly of his childhood memories and how excited he was for the festival every year. He shared, “When I was a kid, I used to play with water balloons, prank people and always had a great time soaking myself in colours and others as well. It was a festival where you let loose and just enjoy with your friends. You don’t have to think about looking good or wearing nice clothes, but the main focus is just to have a great time with your friends.”
Altamash: Holi Without Colours & Water Balloons Is No Fun For Me
Despite his busy work schedule now, Altamash makes sure he does not miss out on the fun. When asked about the one Holi tradition he never skips and whether he prefers a dry celebration, he answered honestly, “Though my work doesn’t allow me to go too far, I like to play with colours and water balloons and water guns and go all in. Holi without that is no fun for me.”
Talking about how Holi celebrations may have evolved over the years, Altamash believes the essence of the festival remains unchanged. He said, “I think for me, Holi hasn’t really changed much because Holi is about bringing your inner child out. I love playing a lot of pranks on my friends on Holi. I trap them with colours, balloons, and throw them in the pool; nobody is allowed to go home without getting drenched in colours and water.”
For Altamash Faraz, Holi is not just about tradition. It is about laughter, friendship, and celebrating life with full energy – just the way he has loved it since childhood.
Bollywood Bubble wishes all its readers a very happy Holi.
