Nikita Dutta Opens Up On Being A Hrithik Roshan Fan

Speaking about being a foodie and talking about Hrithik Roshan, Nikita Dutta said, “You know, he’s such a fit actor, but he loves food. He loves it. Anybody I know who’s worked with him has told me stories about how much Rik loves his food. And if you see, he’s also got a brand that has some food-related stuff happening on the side. So I guess I’ve realized something—anybody who’s really into fitness automatically has a side of them that really loves food. That’s the balance that comes with it. Like, the moment you get really into fitness, you also start getting really into food.”

Nikita Dutta Reveals How She Became A Hrithik Roshan Fan

When asked when she became an HR fan, Nikita said, “I guess with his first film—like, we were such kids when Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai came out. I remember being in my second standard. At that time, my father was getting transferred from Mumbai to Vishakhapatnam. It was the last week before we moved, and we went to this theater called Eros. I don’t know if it’s still open or not. But yeah, we had gone to watch the movie and missed the first 10 minutes. I was so upset—I started crying, saying we missed Hrithik’s run and all that. So we had to go again and watch it. That was the time when, as little girls, we learnt the word crush.”

She added, “Suddenly, it was like, ‘Who’s your crush?’—you know how little girls talk and giggle and all of that. We’d be shy and say, ‘Hrithik Roshan is my crush.’ And the next thing I knew, once we moved and I set up my new room, I had six or seven posters of Hrithik in there. I even remember going to a grocery store with my mom once. I fell down and bruised myself, and the store owner felt so bad that this little kid was crying. You know, how people usually give you a lollipop or something? He gave me a Hrithik Roshan poster! It was from the grocery store—he just handed it to me. And I got so excited because it had an inbuilt autograph. So I came home and very happily stuck it up in my bedroom. Yeah, that was literally my first introduction to the word crush.”
