Nikita Dutta On Shooting For Gold And Kabir Singh At The Same Time
In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Nikita Dutta shares an anecdote about shooting for Kabir Singh half-heartedly after shooting Gold. She says, “You know, it’s actually so funny, I had Gold and Kabir Singh at the same time. While I was shooting for Gold, they put me through a lot of prep, dialect lessons and everything and I thought is my entry into getting more films and this is what going to work for me. And I did Kabir Singh so half-heartedly, with zero preparation. I would just show up on set and like whatever has happened it did.”
He added,“Then the fate of both the films have been different. I remember when things worked out after Kabir Singh release, I kept sitting and thinking that people kept coming and telling me about my performance. And I was like maine kuch nahi kiya ismein. Maine effort wahaan dala tha, yahaan maine kuch nahi kiya hai. That’s when I realized, you really don’t know what works. There’s absolutely no formula to this.”
