EXCLUSIVE: Raj Amit Kumar Reveals If It Was Difficult To Direct Talents Like Saurabh Shukla, Ranvir Shorey, Seema Biswas & Sheeba Chaddha In Bindiya Ke Bahubali; Shares, “Egos Jinki Hoti Hai…”

Raj Amit Kumar’s Bindiya Ke Bahubali Season 2 recently released on Amazon MX Player and has impressed its viewers. The series features an ensemble cast made up of talented actors such as Saurabh Shukla, Ranvir Shorey, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Seema Biswas, Sushant Singh, Sheeba Chaddha, Sai Tamhankar, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Vineet Kumar, and Aakash Dahiya.

During an exclusive telephonic interaction with the show’s director, we asked Raj about his experience working with a talented ensemble cast including names such as Saurabh Shukla, Ranvir Shorey, Seema Biswas and Sheeba Chaddha. During the same conversation, we also quizzed about whether it was difficult to direct them in Bindiya Ke Bahubali. Read on to know what he said.

Raj Amit Kumar On Directing A Talented Ensemble Cast In Bindiya Ke Bahubali

When asked if he faced any challenges directed the talented ensemble cast of Bindiya Ke Bahubali – given their expertise in acting, Raj Amit Kumar replied, “I don’t think it’s difficult, It’s actually very easy and becomes easier when you have talented people around you in terms of performance and secondly, itne saare diggaj actors hai, main yahi kehna chahunga ki mere liye sab actors equal hai, even if it’s a new one, or a old one. But, Yes I feel very blessed to work around people who have such amount of experience and are so talented… I always felt that.”

He continued, “I think filmmaking is a collaborative art, toh ye kehna ki mera ek vision hai aur woh vision bahar aa jaye, usse zyada important hota hai ki jab aap bana rahe hote hai, toh joh magic hora hota hai usko capture kare aap, and when talented technicians, artists and actors come together, magic happens. It’s your job as a director is to create an environment where that magic can unfold and you are aware enough to capture it. So, I would just say is, it wasn’t difficult.”

The ‘Bindiya Ke Bahubali’ director further noted, “Egos toh jinki hoti hai, hoti hai, main involve hi nahi hota hu kabhi. I stay away from that. I think everybody reads what they are making and they come to make that, joh ideology hai woh ek hi reh jaati hai joh hai script, joh aap bana rahe hai, So i know many of my actors are from this side and many are from other side, but when we were making it everyone was together and there were no such problems.”
