Madhur Bhandarkar’s upcoming mystery thriller The Wives has intrigued the audience ever since the film was announced. Regena Cassandrra, one of the leading lady of Madhur’s upcoming film, recently wrapped the first schedule of the film’s shoot in Mumbai and shared some candid behind-the-scenes picture from the set. Regena Cassandrra On Shooting 1st Schedule Of Madhur Bhandarkar’s The Wives

Recalling her experience of shooting The Wives in Mumbai, the actress told Bollywood Bubble, “Working on the first schedule of The Wives was an exhilarating experience. Madhur sir’s story dives into such layered and complex characters that it made the whole process very creatively fulfilling.”

She continued, “At the same time, I’m also shooting for Mookuthi Amman 2 in Chennai and loving the experience of shuttling between two cities and industries. It’s a unique challenge, but one that keeps me inspired and energized.”

Produced by Bhandarkar Entertainment and PJ Motion Pictures, The Wives is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar. It stars an ensemble cast, including Mouni Roy, Regena Cassandrra, Saurabh Sachdeva, Sonali Kulkarni, Rahul Bhat and Ilaha Dhillon. The makers are planning a theatrical release in early 2026.
