EXCLUSIVE: Thakur Anoop Singh Recalls Allu Arjun Praise Him After Intense First Scene In Naa Peru Surya; Reveals, “He Kind Of Started Liking Me”

Thakur Anoop Singh kicked off his career in Tollywood with Puri Jagganath’s Rogue, and since then there has been no looking back. He later went on to star as an antagonist in Allu Arjun starrer Naa Peru Surya. Anoop is currently gearing up for Romeo S3 with Palak Tiwari and a few days back he showed the trailer to Allu Arjun who was all praise for him. In a recent chat with Bollywood Bubble, Anoop recalls his first meeting with the stylish star and reveals how his humble gesture left a lasting impact.

When asked about his fond memories with the Pushpa actor, Anoop recalls, “I remember with Allu Arjun, initially, how we broke the ice. It was after two or three days, he saw my performance there. I had to deliver a monologue while holding his neck. I had prepared those lines and had to look into his eyes with aggression and blurt them out in Telugu. But at the same time, at the back of my mind, there was another imaginary version of me—an Anoop—flipping through pages and clipping them.”

He continued, “So I had a hard time memorizing the lines, delivering them, and looking into Allu Arjun’s eyes. Then on the second or third day, I think he kind of started liking me. We were sitting together, and that’s when we started talking. He asked about my background and where I came from. I also showed him my earlier work, very humbly. He blessed me at that time. He said, ‘You know, mark my words. If you keep up the struggle and keep hustling, you will definitely reach great heights.’ I remember he even tweeted that.”

Talking of Romeo S3, it also stars Palak Tiwari and is all set to hit the theatres on 16^th May.
