5 ‘Ittefaq’ moments from the trailer that are making the wait unbearable

Sidharth’s grey act looks promising!

The trailer starts off with an injured Vikram (Sidharth Malhotra) walking up to Maya's (Sonakshi Sinha) house and asking her to provide him shelter for some time as he has met with an accident. So, the first shot of an injured Sidharth getting aggressive with Sonakshi's character depicts his role to be slightly greyish and considering we haven't seen him in such a role before, it increases our curiousity.

We have seen Sonakshi in strong roles earlier too, but this time she is essaying the role of yesteryear actress Nanda. Lending her own touch to the character, she packs in a lot of anticipation.

Akshaye Khanna’s badass cop act

This may not be the first time that Akshaye Khanna is essaying the role of a cop, but this is in no way similar to his earlier act. The actor surely promises a thrilling ride with his no-nonsense cop role.

Strong dialogue baazi

"Tumhare jaise bhutte hum roz sekte hain," says a stern Dev (Akshaye Khanna) to Vikram (Sidharth Malhotra). Then, there is another dialogue which goes, "Iss kahaani mein teen pehelu hai, ek Vikram ka, ek Maya ek aur ek sach." So basically, we are in for some strong dialogue-baazi with this movie and when a movie has impactful dialogues, the scenes stay with you longer.

Promises equal suspense as the original

While we've seen the remakes of classic movies falling flat, this one surely fills us with lot of promise and hope. An adaptation of the 1969 Yash Chopra flick, the movie's trailer has the perfect dose of suspense and intrigue which keeps you glued right till the last scene. This could be a winner all the way!
