1. Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan

Amitabh and Jaya, first met with each other at Pune’s famous film institute, the mecca of film students in India, FTII. They were only friends before they decided to take the plunge. But, the two became very close during the filming of “Guddi”. Three years after Amitabh Bachchan married Jaya and today they have been happily married for 40 years.

2. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan

The movie, “Tashan” could not win the hearts of audiences but, it surely became a memorable one for Kareena and Saif. In the year 2007, the couple felt instant attraction for each other while shooting in Ladakh for, “Tashan”. Kareena mentioned that she thought Saif was really attractive.

3. Dharmendra and Hema Malini

Their love story is as good as a hit masala Bollywood film. They fell in love with each other on the sets of, “Tum Haseen Main Jawan”. But, Dharmendra was already married then and had two sons out of his first wedding. As his first wife, Prakash Kaur, denied to give him a divorce, Dharmendra converted to Islam and tied the knot with the ‘dream girl’ of Bollywood, on 21st August, 1979.

4. Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor

This charming couple of Bollywood met each other for the first time on the sets of, “Zehrila Insaan”. However, it was not love at first sight for these two. Rather, the two eventually fell in love as they spent time together. At that time, Neetu Singh was just 14 and had started her career in the tinsel town. On the other hand, Rishi Kapoor was a well – established actor by then. Because of her tender age, the couple had to face some opposition from Neetu’s mother. But, the two passed every test successfully and soon got married.

5. Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza

When the teenage actor, Genelia met the chief minister’s son, Riteish for a test shoot of their debut movie, she expected to meet a spoilt brat who would just throw tantrums. To Genelia’s surprise, Riteish was nothing like she had presumed. They bonded really well during the filming of their debut movie, “Tujhe Meri Kasam”. In no time the two became very good friends. And after a nine-year-long courtship period, the two decided to tie the knot.

6. Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

In the year 2006, Abhishek and Aishwarya starred together in three movies. The time spent on the sets of, “Umrao Jaan”, “Guru” and “Dhoom 2” made the two realize their love for each other. In 2007, Abhishek proposed to Aishwarya and the two tied the knot in the same year.

7. Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu

The couple worked together for the movies, “Dhoondhte Reh Jaoge” and “99”. It surely wasn’t love at first sight. In fact, the couple thought they were so different from each other that a possibility of being friends was also ticked off the list. After a long live-in relationship, they got married in the year 2015.
