Gone are the days when there was a division between the north cinema and south cinema but it has started blurring now. As told by Pushpa star Allu Arjun recently that in the last decade, we slowly saw the gaps bridging and today everyone is familiar with each other. Today, we see every film as Indian film. All thanks to the pan-India trend that movies have been releasing in different languages and also thanks to the OTT platforms for bridging the gap.

For the unversed, though pan-India trend started many years back but it was after SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali that became a turning point for Indian cinema and since then there has been a great amalgamation of both North and South helping the actors, producers, directors and others. Year 2021 saw releases of some of the mega pan-India movies like Pushpa: The Rise, ’83, among others. Year 2022 will see some more movies with stellar star cast.
