Aishwarya Rai immerses her father's ashes at the Sangam Ghat.

This year on March 18, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan lost her father Krishnaraj Rai. He was admitted in Lilavati Hospital for a month and unfortunately succumbed to lymphoma. A week later, Aishwarya along with her daughter Aaradhya had gone to Mangalore to meet their family members. They also visited some temples and pictures of them had gone viral. Now, the actress accompanied by hubby Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya visited Allahabad to immerse the ashes of her father at the Sangam Ghat. As they reached there, some cops and priests received them. District Magistrate Sanjay Kumar said to a leading daily, “It was a personal visit by the Bachchans who had requested for privacy and hence only bare minimum deployment of police personnel was made. They left immediately after performing the rites at the Sangam.”
