Ponniyin Selvan

On the second spot is Ponniyin Selvan with a budget of ₹500 crores. Ponniyin Selvan is produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies, the movie will be releasing this year and it stars Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Jayaram, Sobhita Dhulipala, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Vikram Prabhu.

Adipurush

Next, the most expensive movie is to be Adipurush with a budget of a whopping ₹500 crore. Adipurush is one of the most awaited releases of this year and the T-Series Films and Retrophiles production stars Prabhas as Adipurush, Kriti Sanon as Sita, and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh.

RRR

Another much-awaited release of this year is RRR with a budget of ₹400 crores. The movie stars some of the biggest stars in the industry such as N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt.

Thugs of Hindostan was produced with a budget of ₹310 crores by Yash Raj Films. Thugs of Hindostan starred Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. But the movie did not manage to impress the audience as it got mixed reviews.

On the ninth spot is one of the most awaited movies Brahmāstra with a budget of a whopping ₹300 crores. Brahmāstra will be Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt sharing screen space in a movie for the first time. Also starring in the movie will be Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy and others.

Lastly, on the list is the Ranveer Singh starrer 83 with a whopping budget of ₹270 crores. 83 was quite the hit the box office and it was based on the 1983 Cricket World Cup.
