Kabali

The buzz around Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’ is increasing by each passing day. Recently in an interview with a popular daily, the producer of the movie S Thanu had disclosed the actual budget of the movie. He said that he made ‘Kabali’ with a huge budget of Rs 110 crore. Out of this enormous amount a major chunk has gone as a part of the Thalaiva’s fees. According to the reports, Rajinikanth has been paid almost Rs 35 crore for this action thriller.

Also, speculations suggest that Rs 45 crore from ‘Kabali’s first week collections are a part of Rajinikanth’s fees. So that makes a total of Rs 80 crore for just one film. Isn’t that huge? Considering the star power that this God of South cinema demands, this price is not that unusual.

‘Kabali’ is directed by Pa Ranjith and released on July 22, 2016.
