Spanish Singer Enrique Iglesias – who is know for superhit songs such as Bailamos and Heart Attack is all set to perform live for his fans in India. As per reports pouring in, the ‘Hero’ singer – who has previously performed in India in 2004 and 2012, will reportedly perform in Mumbai this October. Read on for more.

Enrique Iglesias To Perform In India This Year?

According to Hindustan Times, Enrique Iglesias is all set to make his return to India after a 13-year gap. The upcoming concert – that is scheduled to take place in Mumbai, will be organized by a Gujarat-based event company. The singer’s last India tour – which took place in 2012, included shows in Pune, Gurugram, and Bengaluru.

While the excitement to hear Enrique live in Mumbai is only increasing, there has been no official confirmation from either the singer or organisers yet. As of now, Mumbai is not listed as a venue on his current tour schedule available on his official website.

Iglesias has often expressed his love for India and in past interviews has even mentioned that the country is one of his favourites. In 2019, he shared on Instagram a video from his earlier visit, showing a fan following his car just to catch a glimpse of him.

During an interview with a Mexican TV channel, a fan was asked if he was Enrique, to which he responded passionately, calling Iglesias a rockstar and saying, “We all love you here a lot.” Iglesias captioned the video, “One of my favourite places in the world! I love you #India can’t wait to be back! #Throwback.”

As fans eagerly await the 50-year-old artist’s return to the country, India has hosted performances by numerous international artists recently. These include Coldplay, Bryan Adams, Maroon 5, Akon, Tisto, Alan Walker, Glass Animals, and Dua Lipa. With Guns N’ Roses performing this weekend and Travis Scott scheduled later this year, the international music scene in India continues to thrive.
