Initial investigations by authorities indicated no signs of foul play. But to clarify the circumstances surrounding his death, police are conducting an autopsy through the National Forensic Service.

On March 11, his agency, Tajo Entertainment, released a statement addressing the devastating loss. “The bereaved family is in deep shock and sorrow following this sudden tragedy, making it difficult to proceed with funeral arrangements,” the agency noted. Once they find the strength, they plan to hold a private funeral for family, relatives, and close friends only. In respect of the family’s wishes during this trying time, Tajo Entertainment urged the public and media to refrain from spreading unverified rumours and speculation. They extended their condolences to Wheesung, expressing a desire for privacy as the family grieves.
