STAYs were already overjoyed during this month due to Hyunjin’s return but Stray Kids just made fans even happier by dropping a movie-like, satirical trailer for their second full album titled NOEASY. The trailer begins with a news report on the rampage caused by people who have lost their voices. We then see the eight boys watching the news together as Felix tells us what’s going on through a detailed voiceover with his deep voice.

Then Bang Chan, the group leader, asks the boys to get ready and the scene cuts to them walking, ready to fight the sound monster. We get a close-up of each member, showing off their new look for the comeback. Unlike the other members who had an electric, hero-like BGM,  Hyunjin’s closeup was paired with dainty, romantic BGM, referring to his princely visuals. Even the filter added an angelic glow to his face. This is when Changbin complains by saying, “Why is his BGM different?”, but gets ignored by the others. This is one of the many reasons fans love Stray Kids so much — they manage to include a touch of humor in everything.

Meanwhile, STAYs have been racking their brains thinking of different theories about the sound monster mentioned in the video. Many think that the ‘sound monster’ who grows stronger by devouring the world’s sounds is referring to haters who spread vicious comments and often call Stray Kids’ music ‘noise’. The album title ‘NOEASY’ is actually a wordplay for noisy — a witty response to haters. The trailer ends with Stray Kids’ signature message “Stray Kids everywhere all around the world. You make Stray Kids stay.” And the release date for the album is 23rd August.

Fans are going crazy and can’t wait for the song! Check out their reactions below:

Fans were shocked when the video was suddenly removed from YouTube. What went wrong? Soon enough, fans started theorizing that perhaps this is a part of the concept. The name of the trailer was ‘Thunderous Trailer’ and thunder is known to be loud, impactful but disappears soon after which is why the trailer was deleted soon after release. Lucky for STAYs, the trailer was reuploaded soon after.
Stray Kids are known to never disappoint with their unique music style so fans can’t wait to listen to this new comeback!
