TxT new title song LO$ER=LO♡ER is emocore number that gets better with every listen

Tomorrow X Together (TxT), the fourth generation K Pop idols, are in the rise and how. The members including Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai mark their return just three months after their previous release The Chaos Chapter : Freeze. On August 27, the members have released a new repackaged album by the title The Chaos Chapter : Fight or Escape. TxT released the music video for the new title song LO$ER = LO♡ER which depicts a world where the boys who felt frozen and empty due to the harsh reality of the world, are now ready to make a choice for you, metaphorically for love.

Tomorrow X Together (TxT) members new title song shows the members all set to FIGHT against the world or to ESCAPE together with you. According to the statement, “the new title, “LO$ER=LO♡ER” (read “loser lover”), is a catchy emo pop-punk track that expresses a real-world “loser’s” desire to be a hero and “lover” to his one-and-only.” The music video shows the boys going reckless as they make choices to fight or escape for love as they let go of their cynical self. Through its catchy melodies, the song provides a Gen Z perspective on the realities of the world.

The music gives a very emocore punk vibe to it with the members seen in a completely different light. The album also shows has TxT’s first fan dedicated song for MOAs.

The repackaged album consists of eleven tracks in total, three of which are new tracks: “LO$ER=LO♡ER,” the first fan dedicated song “MOA Diary (Dubaddu Wari Wari),” and “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) feat. Seori (Emocore Mix).”

Meanwhile, for those unaware, TOMORROW X TOGETHER charted their previous album at No.5 on the Billboard 200 where it has remained in the chart for nine consecutive weeks to date, solidifying the band’s position as K-pop’s ‘It’ Band of 2021. The group’s first English track “Magic” became the #1 Most Added on Mediabase Top 40 Add Board on June 1. The repackaged album, The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE, recorded over 560K copies in pre-sale as of August 17.
