Aishwarya Rai at Cannes

She is rightly called as the most beautiful woman and her every appearance just proves it. As Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been sashaying on the red carpet of Cannes Film Festival 2017 in gorgeous attires, one vividly remembers the last year when her purple lipstick had stolen all the attention from her Rami Kadi dress. She had invited the wrath of social media trolls as many were not impressed with her loud choice of lipstick colour. She spoke about the entire fiasco in detail with a leading YouTube channel. She said, “It was not pre-meditated. I cross my heart and I promise you that it was not pre-meditated. I still believe in ‘Go with the flow & enjoy the show’. All was packed in on that day and that was day 3 and I had to take Aaradhya to the carousel, we had to go to the beach and had ice-cream. I did all of that amidst all the professional commitments. I had the Sarbjit conference in the morning, press-call and then all the personal stuff. Literally just made it at the knack of time back and we got ready and we had to run. Then, I had to bring our team on the red carpet who had never done it before, so that was me trying to fulfil my commitments to the brand and to ease the team as they have not done it before.”

She further added, “None of us knew how would it shape up. I just think that the festival was so generous to give that kind of platform to the entire team of ‘Sarbjit’. But with all that frenzy, my team saw the dress and my stylist was ‘What do you think’, she just whips it out – ‘the purple’ – and I said ‘you’re the expert, go with it. Like I said this is your palette and do your artwork and have fun’. There was a lot much I was focusing on like the reality of the ground and I trust my team. They obviously were looking after the interest of overall impact and it has only been a positive year for years. And like I said ‘Go with the flow & enjoy the show’.”
