Happy 59th Birthday Anil Kapoor

Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor is celebrating his 59th birthday today. Born on December 24, 1956, to film producer Surinder Kapoor his is a perfect rags to riches story. The actor married Sunita Bhambhani Kapoor, a costume designer with whom he has two daughters Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor and a son Harshvardhan Kapoor.  Anil Kapoor’s brothers Boney Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor are established names in Bollywood.

Anil Kapoor’s journey started from a chawl in Chembur but today he is a global celebrity.  He debuted with Umesh Mehra’s Hamare Tumhare but achieved fame in Mashaal, Tezaab. In all, he has enjoyed a consistent film career. He is among very few actors who have been successful in all genres of films.

Anil entered the International arena with  Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire that earned accolades from all over the world and made him an internationally-known star after this film.

This year he worked in Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do, Welcome Back, that were well appreciated by critics and fans alike.
