Sidharth spoke about the film saying, “I’m excited about it because we haven’t seen a murder mystery in a long time. Also, it feels great to know that I’ve been chosen to recreate the magic of Rajesh Khanna and Nanda’s edge-of-the-seat thriller. We’ve reworked the script to suit the current times, but kept the essence intact.”

The remake of ‘Ittefaq’ will be jointly produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Dharma Productions and BR Films. Also, the premise of this film won’t be the same as the earlier one. In fact, the run time of the movie also be quite short as compared to the normal duration of the film.
