Shruti Haasan to lend vocals for Tamannaah Bhatia in a Tamil film

Actress Shruti Haasan, daughter of veteran actor-director-singer-dancer Kamal Haasan is all set to lend her vocals for Tamannaah Bhatia for a song in a Tamil comedy ‘Kathi Sandai’. Shruti is a playback singer and also the vocalist of an alternative rock band ‘The Extramentals’.

A source close to a leading entertainment website revealed, “Shruti has been approached and she has given her nod to sing the song. The recording will happen soon. It’ll be a special song on Tamannaah, and will be lavishly shot.”

The director of the Tamil film Suraj thought Shruti would fit the bill perfectly as a singer. The film will be releasing during Diwali and also stars Vadivelu and Soori.

Apart from her singing a song for the movie, Shruti has a movie called ‘Sabash Naidu’ in her kitty that will be written, directed and produced by her father Kamal Haasan.
