Wait! Did Divya Kholsa Kumar just confirm Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam’s affair?

Rumours of the ‘Sanam Re’ leads Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam dating each other had become the talk of B-town; especially after Pulkit chose to separate from his wife Shweta Rohira, who also happens to be Salman Khan’s rakhi-sister. Though the ‘Fukrey’ star stated that he took the decision keeping in mind his family’s dislike towards Shweta, we werw wondering if Yami was one primary reason behind this split. However, neither Pulkit nor Yami even acknowledged their relationship publicly. Shweta, in fact, claimed that her husband never had things for Yami, though Yami had been eyeing on him since long. But wait! Seems like the cat is out of the bag!

Divya Khosla Kumar, the director of ‘Sanam Re’ was recently in a conversation with a leading magazine where she was asked if all this was a publicity stunt for her upcoming reelase. Here’s what she answered!

“If I could take a risk with five newcomers in Yaariyan and make it a hit then why would I do this for publicity with my second movie? That’s not my filmmaking philosophy. In fact a television channel had approached us with the idea of playing Yami and Pulkit’s real life affair all day in their channel because it will give required footage to the movie. When my department suggested that to me, I completely put my foot down. That’s because I don’t agree with it. It’s not a publicity stunt. The media is writing about it because the power of pen is not in our hands. The media is writing what they want to – we have not fed them these stories.”- she said.
