Wedding anniversary special: When Ranveer Singh opened up about his dreamy proposal to Deepika Padukone

Recently, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone graced the first episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8 and it was all about love and emotions. In the episode, Ranveer Singh had also revealed how he had proposed to Deepika Padukone years back.

In this episode of Koffee With Karan 8, Ranveer Singh revealed that the two were secretly engaged for 3 years. Yes, it was surprising to know that! As Ranveer and Deepika mark their 5th wedding anniversary today, the Simmba actor gave a dreamy proposal to Deepika in 2015. Sharing about the proposal, Ranveer revealed that he had carried a stunning diamond ring with him during their trip to Maldives. Ranveer spoke about the memorable incident and shared that they did a sandback adventure where the boat took them to the middle of the sea which only had a sliver of sand surrounded by blue water.

Further, he shared that it was absolutely dreamy when only the two were present on the sand when he thought it was it was the perfect moment to pop the question. Getting emotional by this, Deepika said ‘yes’ and made the day all the more memorable. How beautiful is that!
