Huma Qureshi is making her international debut with Gurinder Chadha’s film ‘Partition: 1947’. The actress would be essaying a role of a Muslim girl named Aalia who is the translator of Lord Mountbatten, the last Viceroy of India, before partition. She falls in love with a Hindu boy named Jeet. How their love story unfolds in the era of partition is what this film is all about. So as the film is nearing its release, the makers held a special screening of this film for the Bollywood stars.
