Huma Qureshi Plans Close-Knit Wedding With Rachit Singh

According to a report by Hindustan Times, Huma Qureshi and her partner, Rachit Singh, are planning to tie the knot later this year. The couple, who have largely maintained a low profile regarding their relationship, have reportedly already begun preparing for the big day. A source told Hindustan Times, “They are planning an October-end or November wedding as of now. The preparations have begun.”

The festivities are expected to mirror Huma’s understated and intimate style. Offering further insight, the source shared, “Knowing Huma, she will have a good intimate wedding party and then throw a reception for the industry. Maybe not a lavish wedding, but something that only her close friends and family will attend, followed by a big reception. As of now, it’s most probably looking like Mumbai.”

Speaking about the proposal, a source shared, “Huma and Rachit have been going strong for a while as a couple, and on Sunday, he proposed to her in an intimate proposal, and she said yes. It was a close-knit affair that took place in the US. They are yet to decide when they want to make it official by announcing it publicly.”

Huma Qureshi–Rachit Singh Often Spotted Together In Public

Rumours about their relationship had been gaining traction for some time. The duo was seen together at a screening of Thamma and later attended Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding, sparking further curiosity. Back in September 2025, according to reports by Hindustan Times, the couple got engaged in the US.

More recently, the two were spotted travelling together from the Mumbai airport. Notably, one of the few instances where they have been seen publicly as a couple. While there has been no official confirmation from the couple yet, all signs suggest that things are steadily moving in that direction.

Who Is Rachit Singh?

Rachit Singh, early in his career, collaborated with casting director Atul Mongia and played a role in establishing Artist Collective, a platform dedicated to actor training. Over time, he has earned recognition as a respected acting coach.

Through his initiative, Rachit Singh Workshop, he has conducted over 100 sessions and worked with several prominent names. This includes Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Vicky Kaushal, Anushka Sharma, Gulshan Devaiah, and Imaad Shah. Along with Kunal Kapoor, Pooja Hegde, Harshvardhan Rane, and Amruta Subhash, amongst others.

Apart from coaching, he has also dabbled in acting. In 2024, he appeared in Karmma Calling, portraying the character Vedang alongside Raveena Tandon, Varun Sood, Namrata Sheth, and Vikramjeet Virk.

A Look Back At Huma Qureshi’s Past Relationship

Previously, Huma was in a long-term relationship with filmmaker Mudassar Aziz. The two dated for nearly three years before parting ways in 2022. He had also written her film Double XL, which co-starred Sonakshi Sinha. In the past, there were also rumours linking Huma Qureshi to Sohail Khan, though she has consistently maintained a low profile. The actress further chooses to keep her personal life away from public scrutiny and rarely speaks about her relationships.
