Shashank started the discussion by talking about male directors. He said that people say things like 'he is genius', 'has an eye for detail' but when it comes to a female director, people call them 'finicky', 'too rigid' and 'too authoritative'.

Gauri spoke about her debut film 'English Vinglish' and how she followed her dreams and went forward to tell stories that are not told so often.
