Allu Arjun To Play Twin Role In Atlee’s Parallel Universe Film – Report

Tamil director Atlee is known for his love of double-role stories, as seen in films like Mersal, Bigil, and Jawan. Now, he is set to continue this trend in his next big film starring Telugu superstar Allu Arjun. Allu Arjun will play twin brothers in Atlee’s upcoming action-packed entertainer set in a parallel universe, as per peepingmoon.com.

Allu Arjun Joins Forces With Atlee For A Twin Role in Action-Packed Saga

Fresh from the success of Pushpa 2: The Rule, this will be Allu Arjun’s first double role in his 20-year acting career. The duo is expected to shoot a promo next week, which will officially announce the film on Allu Arjun’s birthday, April 8.

The film will be produced by Sun Pictures, it has gone through several changes. Initially, it was planned as a two-hero film featuring Salman Khan and a South Indian superstar, with a reincarnation plot. However, after casting Allu Arjun, the script was reworked to focus solely on him, removing the reincarnation angle. The film is now a high-budget action spectacle with heavy VFX, set in a parallel universe.

Atlee is currently fine-tuning the script, with Allu Arjun also giving creative inputs. The film will feature three heroines and a strong supporting cast from both North and South Indian cinema.

The pre-production is set to begin next month, and shooting is expected to start between August and September. Fans are eagerly awaiting updates on this highly anticipated film, tentatively titled #A6 and #AA22.
