Shivaji Rao Gaikwad who is popularly known Rajinikanth is the reigning superstar of Indian cinema. He is celebrating his 72nd birthday today, on December 12. On the special occassion, the actor is receiving warm wishes from his well-wishers and fans. Rajinikanth’s son-in-law and actor Dhanush was one of the first few celebs to wish Rajinikanth. He took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Happy birthday THALAIVA” with folded hands emojis.

On the work front, Rajinikanth will be seen in the film, Jailer where he is playing the character called Muthuvel Pandian. A special video will be released today at 6 PM.
